January 24 - 28

• Monday: Demo grayscale value sphere in acrylic paint. DP4 continue working on your pre-planning pages.
• Tuesday: Demo monochromatic value sphere. Work on both value spheres using tints and shades. Complete pre-planning pages.  DP4 needs to complete their pre-planning pages.Pre-planning pages due.
• Wednesday: Work on value sphere and monochromatic value sphere. DP4 - begin acrylic painting by making thumbnails from your reference photo. Analyze lights and darks and begin thinking in color. 
• Thursday: Continue working on value spheres. DP4 - begin underpainting.
• Friday: Introduce monochromatic value sphere using intense and dull shading. . DP4 - work on acrylic painting.

Upcoming Due Dates:

1. Pre-Planning Pages - due on Tuesday, January 25th.
2. Drawing Homework: 5 black ballpoint pen  gestural drawings of your lunch (each should be 3 minutes in length). Due on Tuesday, February 1st. (2nd period only this week. 1st period completed this homework assignment this week.)
