Drawing & Painting 1 - class this week will go something like this, but since it is the first week there will probably be changes.

• Monday: Introductions
• Tuesday: Pre-drawing of a tool. BRING A PENCIL AND ERASER!
• Wednesday: Syllabus and Class Expectations. We will set up your class folder (1st - orange and 2nd - purple). You need to have a two pocket 3-prong folder for Wednesday in your class' color. You can purchase your own, or one from me for 35¢ in class.
• Thursday: What is the purpose of a value sphere and how to make a correct one? Make a value sphere using stippling.
• Friday: Journaling in Drawing and Painting!

• Monday: Introductions
• Tuesday: Syllabus and Class expectations (You will keep a folder for this class, please see the folder instructions for DP1)
• Wednesday: Begin your first studio assignment. Find an unusual perspective in the artroom and recreate in value - your choice of pencil or pen techniques. Use the project planner to set your due date.
• Thursday: Work on your perspective studio assignment.
• Friday: Journaling in Drawing and Painting 3! Begin your first series of 5 pages devoted to a favorite color.
